SCF has trained more than 1,500 young people through its Active Citizens Model, equipping them with skills in governance, policy advocacy, and civic engagement. These trained youth have initiated awareness campaigns, advocacy efforts, and grassroots mobilization in their respective areas, addressing issues such as: good governance and democratic participation; climate action and environmental sustainability; public health awareness and SRHR advocacy; and social justice and gender equality.

By fostering a sense of responsibility, inclusivity, and civic participation, SCF equips young people with the knowledge and skills necessary to engage with policymakers, mobilize communities, and contribute to a more equitable and resilient society.

Youth Leadership for Social and Economic Resilience

SCF's youth leadership initiatives focus on building economic resilience and strengthening disaster preparedness. Many youth trained under SCF's programs have gone on to lead climate action projects, disaster risk reduction (DRR) campaigns, gender equality advocacy, and economic empowerment programs within their communities.

SCF ensures that young people are not just participants but leaders in their communities. Through workshops, mentorship, and real-world application, these young leaders are raising awareness, holding institutions accountable, and fostering a culture of active citizenship in Sindh. SCF believes that empowering youth today will lead to a more just and sustainable future for all.
